Government staff nurse vacancy 2022 is opened in the famous government hospital in Lucknow, capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The election bound state is quickly recruiting the staff nurses in to the vacancies after many years.
Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow is inviting applications from candidates for Sister Grade II and other medical vacancies such as technician, Medical Lab Technologist, etc. There are 252 vacancies for Sister Grade II post. The recruitment will be done on the basis of Common Recruitment Test (CRT).
Salary of nurses in government hospitals are as per the 7th Pay Commission or as per the state policies. The salary offered in SGPGI is as per Level 7 of 7th Pay Commission (CPC) of the Central Government of India.
Candidates who have completed B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or GNM is sufficient for applying for the post of Sister Grade II. Two years of experience after relevant education qualification is also required.
It will be a written test of 2 hours of total 100 marks. It will contain multiple choice questions (MCQs) 60 marks on the subject(s) related to the post. It will also have 10 marks on General English, 10 marks on General Knowledge, 10 marks on Reasoning, and 10 marks on Mathematical Aptitude. 1 (one) mark will be given for the correct answer and 1/3 (one-third) mark will be deducted for the wrong answer (i.e. there will be negative marking). Minimum qualifying marks of the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for all posts will be:- 50% for General, EWS, OBC. 45% for SC & ST.
In cases where more than one candidate secures equal marks, the tie will be resolved
(i) First by using the date of birth, with older candidate placed higher
(ii) If not resolved by the date of birth, it will be resolved by the number of wrong answers/ negative marks, those with less wrong answers/ negative marks placed higher.
Applicants who have submitted their applications earlier against (i) Advt No. I-24-Rectt/2018-19 (ii) Advt. No. I-43-Rectt/2016-17 may also apply afresh if they fulfill the required qualification and experience. However, their age shall be considered as per the earlier advertisement. These candidates do not have to deposit application fees again. They have to upload a photo copy of depositing fee/DD/transaction Id and photo copy of earlier applied Application form at the appropriate Colum of the present Application Form. These relaxations will apply only after the verification of relevant information provided by the candidate.

The application fees is Rs. 1000 plus gst for General, OBC and EWS categories. There is a relaxation on the fees for SC candidates, i.e., Rs. 600 plus gst for SC/ST candidates.
